Iowa Admin. Code r. 481-58.50 - Family visits

Each resident, if married, shall be ensured privacy for visits by the resident's spouse; if both are residents in the facility, they shall be permitted to share a room if available. (II)

(1) The facility shall provide for needed privacy in visits between spouses. (II)
(2) Spouses who are residents in the same facility shall be permitted to share a room, if available. (II)
(3) Family members shall be permitted to share a room, if available, if requested by both parties. (II)
