Iowa Admin. Code r. 481-780.15 - Use of title

A physician assistant licensed under Iowa Code chapter 148C may use the words "physician assistant" after the person's name or signify the same by the use of the letters "PA." A person who meets the qualifications for licensure under Iowa Code chapter 148C but does not possess a current license may use the title "PA" or "physician assistant" but may not act or practice as a physician assistant unless licensed under Iowa Code chapter 148C.
