Iowa Admin. Code r. 561-7.20 - Waiver of procedures

Unless otherwise precluded by law, the parties in a contested case proceeding may waive any provision of this chapter The waiver shall be by written stipulation representing an informed, mutual consent. However, the agency, in its discretion, may refuse to give effect to such waiver when it deems the waiver to be inconsistent with the public interest.
