Iowa Admin. Code r. 571-46.2 - Off-road motorcycles
(1)
Off-road motorcycles shall be subject to the following:
a. Registration requirements of this chapter;
and
b. Titling requirements of this
chapter, if a title has not previously been issued under Iowa Code chapter
321.
(2) An operator of
an off-road motorcycle is subject to the provisions of Iowa Code chapter 321I
and this chapter, except that the operator is exempt from the safety
instruction and certification program requirements of Iowa Code chapter
321I.

(1) Off-road motorcycles shall be considered all-terrain vehicles for the purpose of:
a. Registration requirements of this chapter; and
b. Titling requirements of this chapter, if a title has not previously been issued under Iowa Code chapter 321.
(2) An operator of an off-road motorcycle is subject to the provisions of Iowa Code chapter 3211 and this chapter, except that the operator is exempt from the safety instruction and certification program requirements of Iowa Code chapter 3211.
