Iowa Admin. Code r. 591-17.15 - Subpoenas
(1)
Issuance .
a. A UST board
subpoena shall be issued to a party on request. Such a request must be in
writing. In the absence of good cause for permitting later action, a request
for a subpoena must be received at least three days before the scheduled
hearing. The request shall include the name, address, and telephone number of
the requesting party .
b. Parties
are responsible for service of their own subpoenas and payment of witness fees
and mileage expenses.
(2)
Motion to quash or
modify. The presiding officer may quash or modify a subpoena for any
lawful reason upon motion in accordance with the Iowa Rules of Civil Procedure.
A motion to quash or modify a subpoena shall be set for argument
promptly.
