Iowa Admin. Code r. 641-25.2 - [Effective 3/26/2025] Applicability
The provisions of the UPC, as adopted and amended by this chapter, are applicable to the plumbing in buildings or on premises in Iowa. Local jurisdictions may not adopt other plumbing codes. Local jurisdictions may adopt additional amendments provided they are stricter than the UPC as amended by this chapter and copies of any local amendments are provided to the board.
