Iowa Admin. Code r. 645-101.12 - Removal technician education and training requirements

(1) A removal technician will complete an in-person or live, real-time interactive media education training program that is approved by the board of mortuary science and provides education and training on the following:
a. Requirements of the Federal Trade Commission Funeral Rule as defined in rule 645-100.1 (156);
b. Requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Act relevant to the removal technician's duties;
c. Iowa laws and rules relevant to removal technicians; and
d. Pertinent equipment.
(2) It is the responsibility of the removal technician to maintain documentation of successful completion of the education training program described in subrule 101.12(1).
