(2) Review of patient record. A physician shall not induce an abortion by providing an abortion-inducing drug unless the physician has first reviewed the lab results, ultrasound images, and medical history provided by the patient to determine, and document in the woman's medical record, the gestational age and intrauterine location of the pregnancy. A physician may utilize telemedicine pursuant to rule 653-13.9 (147,148,272C).
