Iowa Admin. Code r. 653-25.10 - Pleadings
(1) Pleadings may
be required by rule, by the statement of charges, or by order of the presiding
officer .
(2) Answer or appearance.
An answer or appearance may be filed by the respondent within 20 days of
service of the statement of charges. The answer or appearance shall state the
name, address and telephone number of the person filing the answer, the person
or entity on whose behalf it is filed, and the attorney representing that
person, if any. If the attorney is not licensed to practice law in Iowa, the
attorney must fully comply with Iowa Court Rule 31.14.
(3) Amendment. Amendments to the statement of
charges and to an answer may be allowed with the consent of the parties or in
the discretion of the presiding officer who may impose terms or grant a
continuance.
