Iowa Admin. Code r. 655-2.7 - Closure of an approved program

(1) Prior to program closure, the controlling institution shall submit a written plan to the board. The plan shall include:
a. Reasons for closure and the date of closure, including when the last student graduates.
b. Provisions to continually meet the criteria for board approval and maintenance of nursing education standards during the transition to closure.
c. Arrangements for enrolled students to complete a board-approved program.
(2) Prior to closure, the controlling institution shall notify the board regarding the location and maintenance of student and graduate transcripts and records.
