Iowa Admin. Code r. 657-35.29 - Recording costs
Contested case hearings shall be recorded by electronic means or by a certified shorthand reporter. The board may assess the costs of the certified shorthand reporter to the licensee in a disciplinary hearing which results in disciplinary action taken against the licensee by the board in accordance with 657-subrule 36.10(2). Upon request, the board shall provide a copy of the whole or any portion of the record at cost. The requesting party shall pay the cost of preparing a copy of the record or of transcribing the hearing record. If the request for the hearing record is made as a result of a petition for judicial review, the party who filed the petition shall be considered the requesting party.
