Iowa Admin. Code r. 657-8.1 - [Rescinded effective 7/16/2025] Purpose and scope
The purpose of this chapter is to establish the minimum standards of pharmacy practice for the activities identified in this chapter. The requirements of these rules shall apply to all Iowa-licensed pharmacists, other registered pharmacy personnel, and all pharmacies, including owners, providing the services addressed in this chapter to patients in Iowa. These rules are in addition to rules of the board relating to specific types of pharmacy licenses issued by the board unless otherwise indicated by rule.
