Iowa Admin. Code r. 661-1.7 - Surety companies
When the Iowa Code requires the commissioner to approve a corporate surety company, approval by the insurance division of the Iowa department of commerce shall be required, and if that approval has been acquired and is continuing, the commissioner's approval will be extended.
