Iowa Admin. Code r. 661-503.4 - Appeals

A licensee whose license is disciplined, an applicant whose application for a license is denied, or a person who is not licensed by the board and who is assessed a civil penalty for engaging in an activity requiring a license may appeal the suspension, revocation, denial, or civil penalty to the board by notifying the board office of the appeal in writing within 30 calendar days after receiving notice of the suspension, revocation, denial, or civil penalty. Upon receipt of a timely appeal, the board will conduct a contested case hearing under 481-Chapter 10.
