Iowa Admin. Code r. 681-3.82 - Temporary appointments

Temporary appointments may be made and approved by the resident director to provide for services needed on a periodic basis. Appointments may be made without reference to the provision of these rules regarding minimum qualifications, certification, and selection. Employees appointed on this basis will not work more than 780 hours in any fiscal year.

This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code Supplement section 8A.413(9).
