Iowa Admin. Code r. 685-14.2 - Definition
"Qualified archaeologist" means an individual who has:
1. A graduate degree in archaeology,
anthropology, or a closely related field of equivalent specialized training in
archaeological research, administration, or management,
2. At least one year of full-time
professional experience,
3. At
least four months of supervised field and analytic experience in general North
American archaeology, and
4. A
demonstrated ability to carry research to completion.
