Iowa Admin. Code r. 701-26.3 - Memorandum of understanding required
Before a public agency may submit qualifying debt to the department for setoff, that public agency shall enter into a memorandum of understanding with the department. The department will reject any debts submitted by a public agency prior to the effective date of the memorandum of understanding. Prior to entering into a memorandum of understanding with the department, the public agency shall provide any relevant information required by the department.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 421.65.
