Iowa Admin. Code r. 761-615.26 - Remedial driver improvement
(1) Pursuant to
Iowa Code section 321.180B(3)
"a," remedial driver improvement action means any or all of
the following as determined by the department: suspension, safety advisory
letter, additional restriction(s), safety consultation, educational program,
knowledge examination, or driving examination.
(2) A suspension period under Iowa Code
section 321.180B(3)
shall be at least 30 days for the first violation, at least 60 days for the
second violation, and at least 90 days for a third or subsequent violation. A
person whose driving privilege has been suspended under this rule is not
eligible for a temporary restricted license.
(3) Any action under this rule terminates
when a person attains the age of 18.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 321.180B.

The department may suspend a person's license when the department receives satisfactory evidence of a violation of a restriction imposed on the license. The suspension period shall be at least 30 days.
