Iowa Admin. Code r. 761-615.7 - Cancellations
(1) The department
shall cancel the license of an unmarried minor upon receipt of a written
withdrawal of consent from the person who consented to the minor's application.
The department shall also cancel a minor's license upon receipt of evidence of
the death of the person who consented to the minor's application.
(2) The department shall cancel a motorized
bicycle license when the licensee is convicted of one moving violation .
Reapplication may be made 30 days after the date of cancellation.
(3) The department may cancel a license when
the person was not entitled or is no longer entitled to a license, failed to
give correct and required information, or committed fraud in
applying.
(4) A cancellation shall
begin ten days after the department's notice of cancellation is served.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 321.184, 321.185, 321.189, 321.201 and 321.215.
