Iowa Admin. Code r. 761-615.9 - Suspension or revocation for out-of-state offense
The department may suspend or revoke a person's license when the department is notified by another state that the person committed an offense in that state that, if committed in Iowa, would be grounds for suspension or revocation. The notice may indicate either a conviction or a final administrative decision. The period of the suspension or revocation is to be the same as if the offense had occurred in Iowa.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code sections 321.205 and 321.210.
