Iowa Code r. 21-48.1 - Function
The pesticide advisory committee was created by Iowa Code chapter 206 and is charged with the responsibility of assisting the secretary in obtaining scientific data and coordinating agricultural chemical regulatory, enforcement, research and educational functions of the state.

Organization and operation
location. The pesticide advisory committee is located within the
Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Henry A. Wallace Building, Des
Moines, Iowa 50319. The department's office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,
Monday through Friday.

Membership. The pesticide advisory committee consists of nine
members as set forth in Iowa Code section
206.23.
