Iowa Code r. 281-41.11 - Day; business day; school day
"Day" means calendar day unless otherwise indicated as business day or school day.

"Business day" means Monday through Friday, except for federal and state
holidays, unless holidays are specifically included in the designation of
business day, as in paragraph 41.148(4)"b."
2. "School day" means any day, including a
partial day, when children are in attendance at school for instructional
purposes. School day has the same meaning for all children in school, including
children with and without disabilities. The length of the school day for an
eligible individual shall be the same as that determined by the local
educational agency's board of directors for all other individuals, unless a
shorter day or longer day is prescribed in the eligible individual's
individualized education program.
