Iowa Code r. 567-114.12 - Inspection prior to start-up
The department shall be notified when the initial construction of a sanitary disposal project has been completed in order that an inspection may be made to determine that the project is constructed as designed. No solid waste shall be accepted by a sanitary disposal project until that project has been inspected and approved by the department.
