Iowa Code r. 661-251.1 - Definitions

The following definitions apply to rules 661-251.1 (100B) to 661-251.204 (100B):

"Emergency incident" means any incident involving a fire or other hazardous situation to which personnel of a fire department respond.

"NFPA" means the National Fire Protection Association.

"Structural firefighting" means firefighting in a hazardous environment which requires the use of self-contained breathing apparatus.
