Iowa Code r. 661-400.7 - Annual statements

(1) As soon as practical after the close of each fiscal year, a statement of account shall be furnished to each actively engaged member, which shall include the member's contribution for the year.

(2) As soon as practical after the end of a calendar year, and in any event within any deadlines for this purpose established by the Internal Revenue Service or the Iowa department of revenue, a Form 1099, W2-P or an equivalent shall be prepared for and mailed to each person who received benefits during the year. The form shall detail the total pension paid during the year and shall comply with any applicable requirements established by the Internal Revenue Service and the Iowa department of revenue.
