Iowa Code r. 821-1.2 - State registrar of voters
The state commissioner of elections is designated the state registrar of voters. The state registrar is responsible for the regulation of the preservation, preparation and maintenance of voter registration records. This regulation activity is in accordance with the policies of the voter registration commission.
This rule is intended to implement Iowa Code section 47.7(1).
