Kan. Admin. Regs. § 109-5-3 - Continuing education approval for long-term providers
(a) Any sponsoring organization may submit an
application to the board requesting approval as a long-term provider.
(b) Each sponsoring organization seeking
long-term provider approval shall submit a continuing education training
program management plan at least 30 calendar days before the first course
offering as a long-term provider.
(c) Each continuing education training
program management plan shall include a description of the plan and all
policies or documents demonstrating how the sponsoring organization will
utilize its quality management plan to ensure that each continuing education
course provided meets the following requirements:
(1) Is provided in a manner that protects the
health and safety of students and participants;
(2) is oriented towards the enhancement of
EMS practice, values, skills, and knowledge; and
(3) issues continuing education credit as
specified in K.A.R. 109-5-1.
