Kan. Admin. Regs. § 110-13a-2 - Application requirements for enterprise facilitation project funding
(a) Each
enterprise facilitation group shall be notified by the department of the award
amount available for each group within 15 business days following the deadline
for the regional foundations to transfer the percentage of funds raised during
the previous fiscal year as required by K.S.A. 74-50,154(c)(1), and amendments
thereto. All such funds transferred to the department shall be awarded to the
enterprise facilitation groups to be used for operating costs.
(b) To be eligible for funding from the
enterprise facilitation fund, each enterprise facilitation group shall meet the
following requirements:
(1) Submit the
following to the secretary:
(A) An annual
progress report; and
(B) the most
recent quarterly progress reports; and
(2) enter into an agreement with the
department.
(c) The
agreement specified in paragraph (b)(2) shall state the intended use of the
funds, the reporting requirements for the expenditure of funds, and the
anticipated results of each project.
(d) Each eligible enterprise facilitation
group shall receive an equal portion of the total funds transferred to the
department pursuant to K.S.A. 74-50,154(c)(1), and amendments thereto. Funding
shall be disbursed to each eligible enterprise facilitation group within 15
business days of execution of the agreement specified in this regulation. If an
enterprise facilitation group ceases to exist or is otherwise not eligible for
funding, that group's unexpended or remaining or unused allocation shall be
returned to the enterprise facilitation fund. That allocation shall then be
divided equally among the remaining eligible enterprise facilitation groups.
