Kan. Admin. Regs. § 112-5-5 - Patrol judges

(a) The stewards shall determine the number of patrol judges needed for the orderly conduct of the race meet and shall direct the placing of the patrol judges at points of vantage about the racetrack subject to the approval of the commission.

(b) Each patrol judge shall be subject to the orders of the stewards and shall report to the stewards any incident affecting the conduct of a race that they observe.
