Kan. Admin. Regs. § 129-6-51 - General eligibility requirements

(a) Eligibility process. The determination of eligibility shall be based upon information provided by the applicant or recipient, or on behalf of the applicant or recipient, as well as electronic data matches with other state and federal databases, including the social security administration, department of homeland security, department of labor, and the department's office of vital statistics. If the information is unclear, incomplete, conflicting, or questionable, a further review, including contact with third parties, may be required.
(b) Eligibility for medical assistance. Each applicant or recipient shall be eligible for medical assistance only if all applicable eligibility requirements have been met.
