Kan. Admin. Regs. § 19-42-1 - Definitions

For the purposes of this article, the following words and phrases have the following meanings:

(a) For the purposes of K.S.A. 46-226, "representation case" shall not include participation in providing goods and services to the state, nor representation of any person before the judicial branch of state government.
(b) "Employed in a representation case" means the person will receive compensation from the case and actually communicates with the state agency or an employee of the agency concerning the representation case or personally appears before the state agency.
