Kan. Admin. Regs. § 22-17-2 - Approval of devices
(a) An
early warning, fire suppression or fire alarm device shall not be sold, offered
for sale, or distributed within the state of Kansas without prior approval of
the state fire marshal.
(b) Each
early warning, fire suppression and fire alarm device shall be listed by and
bear the label of a nationally-recognized testing laboratory unless the
requirement is waived by the state fire marshal.
