Kan. Admin. Regs. § 22-18-3 - Construction requirements for school buildings
(a) The construction of each school building shall meet the requirements of
the international building code, which is adopted by reference in K.A.R. 22-1-3. All electric wiring shall
conform to the requirements of the national electric code of the national fire protection association, which
is adopted by reference in K.A.R. 22-1-3.
(b) The construction of
each mobile, modular, portable, or relocatable school building shall meet the requirements of the life safety
code, which is adopted by reference in K.A.R. 22-1-3.
