Kan. Admin. Regs. § 26-8-8 - Termination
Services provided under this act shall be terminated by the area agency on aging for any of the following reasons:
(a) The customer moved to an adult care
home.
(b) The customer
died.
(c) The customer moved out of
the service area.
(d) The customer
chose to terminate services.
(e)
The customer no longer meets the eligibility criteria.
(f) The customer has not paid the fees, and
60 days have passed since the original billing date.
(g) The customer did not accurately report
the customer's income and liquid assets and chooses not to pay the applicable
fees.
(h) The service provided was
a one-time service as defined in K.A.R. 26-8-1.
(i) The program or service ended or was
terminated.
(j) The service was
discontinued due to the lack of service provider or staff.
(k) The customer is determined to be no
longer safe in the customer's own home.
(l) The customer's whereabouts are
unknown.
(m) The customer is a
participant in the "program of all-inclusive care for the elderly"
(PACE).
