Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-15a-27 - Alternate analytical techniques and testing methods
(a) The following documents are hereby
adopted by reference:
(1)
40 C.F.R.
141.27, as in effect on July 1, 2015;
and
(2) 40 C.F.R. part 141, subpart
C, appendix A, as in effect on July 1, 2017 and as amended by 82 fed. reg.
3486734870 (2017).
(b)
In addition to the requirements of
40 C.F.R.
141.27 and appendix A to subpart C of part
141 as adopted in subsection (a), each person that operates a public water
supply system shall ensure that the analyses of drinking water samples required
by this article of the department's regulations are performed in accordance
with the approved methods listed in appendix A for contaminants, disinfectant
residuals, and parameters.
(c) If
drinking water samples are required by this article of the department's
regulations to be analyzed, each person that operates a public water supply
system shall ensure that the analysis is conducted by an accredited laboratory
as specified in
K.A.R.
28-15-35.
