Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-24-6 - Products and containers
(a) All products
shall be kept in labeled and closed containers. Each container shall be kept
clean so that the label is legible. Each container shall be closed when not in
use.
(b) If only a portion of a
product is to be used on a consumer, each practitioner shall remove the product
from its container in a way that does not contaminate the unused portion in the
container. Each practitioner shall discard any remaining portion that was
removed from the container but was not used during that consumer's service in a
covered waste receptacle immediately after use. If cosmetic pencils are used,
each pencil shall be sharpened before each use and the sharpener shall be
cleaned and disinfected before being used again.
