Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-29-19 - Monitoring required

As a condition for issuing a permit, the secretary may require the approval, installation, and operation of environmental quality monitoring systems before the acceptance of solid wastes for storage, processing, or disposal. Approval of the monitoring system(s) will be based on the following:

(a) The location of monitoring wells, air monitoring stations, and other required sampling points;

(b) Plans and specifications for the construction of the monitoring systems;

(c) Frequency of sampling; and

(d) Analyses to be performed.
