Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-35-135k - Definitions

As used in these regulations, each of the following terms shall have the meaning assigned in this regulation:

(a) "Kilovolts (kV)" means the energy equal to that acquired by a particle with one electron charge in passing through a potential difference of 1,000 volts in a vacuum.
(b) "Kilovolts peak (kVp)" has the meaning assigned to "peak tube potential."
(c) "kWs" means kilowatt second. This term is calculated using the following equation:
