Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-35-193a - Pre-licensing inspections
The department may request verification of information provided in any application or request additional information that is necessary to make a determination as to whether a license should be granted or denied and whether any special conditions should be attached to the license. This information may be obtained by visiting the facility or location where radioactive materials would be possessed or used, and by discussing details of proposed possession or use of the radioactive material with the applicant or the applicant's designated representatives.
