Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-35-285 - Surveillance

During each radiographic operation, the radiographer or radiographer's assistant shall maintain direct visual surveillance of the operation to protect against unauthorized entry into the high-radiation area, except under either of the following circumstances:

(a) If the high-radiation area is equipped with a control device or an alarm system as specified in K.A.R. 28-35-219a ; or
(b) if the high-radiation area is locked to protect against unauthorized or accidental entry.
