Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-35-350 - Labeling

(a) Each source, source holder, and logging tool containing radioactive material shall bear a durable, legible, and clearly visible marking or label that has, at a minimum, the standard radiation caution symbol, without the conventional color requirement, and the following wording:

DANGER (or CAUTION) RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL

This labeling shall be on the smallest component transported as a separate piece of equipment.

(b) Each storage container that is transported shall have securely attached to the container a durable, legible, and clearly visible label that has, at a minimum, the standard radiation caution symbol and the following wording:

DANGER (or CAUTION) RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL

NOTIFY CIVIL AUTHORITIES

(or NAME OF COMPANY)

(c) No licensee may transport licensed material unless the material is packaged, labeled, marked, and accompanied by appropriate shipping papers in accordance with these regulations.
