Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-39-232 - Quality of life; activity programs
(a) Each nursing
facility for mental health shall have an organized activity program which is
managed by an activity director and is directed toward community integration.
(b) The activity program plan for
the facility shall be based on the needs identified in the comprehensive
assessment of each resident and on interests expressed by individual residents.
(c) Activities shall be offered at
least daily.
(d) Activities
offered shall be varied and shall be planned for individuals, small groups or
large groups with opportunities for involvement in the local community.
(e) Monthly calendars of
activities offered shall be prepared in advance and shall be kept for three
months.
