Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-4-332 - Terms of license
(a) The maximum
number of youth and the age range of youth who may be treated in each secure
residential treatment facility shall be specified on the facility's license. No
youth less than 10 years of age shall be admitted to a secure residential
treatment facility. No youth more than 18 years of age shall be admitted to a
secure residential treatment facility, but any person admitted for treatment
may continue to receive treatment until that person is 21 years of age.
(b) Each license issued by the
department shall be valid only for the firm, corporation, or association
appearing on the license and for the address listed on the license.
(c) Advertising for each secure residential
treatment facility shall conform to the statement of services as given on the
application. A claim for specialized services shall not be made unless the
secure residential treatment facility is staffed and equipped to offer those
services.
