Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-4-421 - Terms of temporary permit or license
(a) The license capacity for each child care
center and each preschool shall be specified on the temporary permit or
license.
(1) License capacity shall be
determined by age of children, available space, and number of self-contained
units per facility.
(2) Each
applicant with a temporary permit and each licensee shall ensure that the
license capacity as stated on the temporary permit or license is not
exceeded.
(3) No change to the
terms of the license, including a change in the license capacity, age of
children enrolled, or the number of units, shall be made unless written
approval is granted by the secretary.
(b) Validity of the temporary permit or
license.
(1) Each temporary permit or license
shall be valid only for the person and the address specified on the temporary
permit or license.
(2) When an
initial or amended license becomes effective, all previous temporary permits or
licenses issued to the applicant with a temporary permit or licensee shall
become invalid.
(c)
Posting the temporary permit or license and the availability of regulations.
Each applicant with a temporary permit and each licensee shall post each
temporary permit or license in a conspicuous place on the premises that is
visible to parents. A copy of the current regulations governing child care
centers and preschools shall be readily available to all staff.
