Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-45-21 - Plugged and abandoned storage well

(a) Each permittee that wants to plug a storage well shall submit a plugging and abandonment plan to the department for the secretary's review and consideration for approval, at least six months before plugging. Plugging operations shall not begin until the secretary has issued approval.

(b) Each permittee shall comply with the provisions of the department's document titled "plugging and abandonment of a storage well," dated July 27, 2021, which is hereby adopted by reference.
