Kan. Admin. Regs. § 28-72-1o - Definitions
In addition to the definitions in K.S.A. 65-1,201 and amendments thereto, each of the following terms shall have the meaning assigned in this regulation:
(a) "Occupant protection plan" means a plan
developed by a lead abatement supervisor or project designer before the
commencement of lead abatement or lead hazard control in any structure
designated by the act that describes the measures and management procedures to
be taken during lead abatement or lead hazard control to protect the building
occupants from exposure to any lead hazards.
(b) "Occupation" means one of the specific
disciplines of lead-based paint activities identified in this article for which
individuals can receive training from training providers. This term shall
include renovator, lead abatement worker, lead abatement supervisor, lead
inspector, risk assessor, and project designer, and any combination of
these.
(c) "Oral exam" means a test
that is equivalent in content to a corresponding written exam but is read to
the student by the principal instructor. Each student taking an oral exam shall
be required to provide the answers to the exam in writing.
