Kan. Admin. Regs. § 30-44-5 - Scope of services; judgment interest
(a) Except as
otherwise provided in subsection (b), the scope of child support enforcement
services related to judgment interest shall be limited to enforcement of a lump
sum previously determined by a tribunal of competent jurisdiction, if the
judgment interest debt can be enforced in the same manner as that for a debt
for child support.
(b) If the
director of child support enforcement services determines that conducting or
participating in a pilot project is in the best interests of the child support
enforcement program, additional services related to judgment interest may be
authorized by the director in cases selected for the pilot project.
(c) This regulation shall be effective on and
after July 1, 2003.
