Kan. Admin. Regs. § 30-5-162 - Scope of psychological services for medikan program recipients
The scope of psychological services for adult medikan program recipients shall be identical to the psychological services pursuant to K.A.R. 30-5-104 covered for adult medicaid program recipients with the following exceptions:
(a) Outpatient psychotherapy shall be limited
to 24 hours per calendar year per medikan recipient when provided by a
psychologist, physician, community mental health center, or any combination of
these providers;
(b) psychological
testing and evaluation shall be limited to four hours in any three consecutive
calendar years for medikan recipients; and
(c) targeted case management and partial
hospitalization services shall be limited to amounts specified by the secretary
of the department for medikan recipients. The effective date of this regulation
shall be January 2, 1991.
