Kan. Admin. Regs. § 30-5-77 - Scope of home-and community-based services for technology-assisted children
The scope of home-and community-based services for technology-assisted children shall consist of those services provided under the authority of a federally approved waiver. Home-and community-based services shall be provided in accordance with a written plan of care by a home health agency and approved by the Kansas department of social and rehabilitation services.
(a) Services may include
one or more of the following:
(1) An average
of 10 hours per month of case management services;
(2) a maximum of seven days or 168 hours per
calendar year of respite care provided in the home; and
(3) medical equipment and supplies not
otherwise covered under the medicaid program and approved in the plan of care.
(b) Reimbursement for
services for technology-assisted children shall be based upon reasonable fees
as related to customary charges, except no fee shall be paid in excess of the
range maximum. The range of charges shall provide the base for computations.
The effective date of this regulation shall be July 1, 1991.
