Kan. Admin. Regs. § 40-4-37f - Long-term care insurance; notices, limited policy; right to return requirements
(a) A long-term
care insurance policy shall have the words "this is a limited policy read it
carefully" printed on or attached to the face of the policy in not less than 18
point bold face type or in some other manner that distinguishes it from the
print otherwise appearing in the policy.
(b) Right to return free look provision.
Long-term care insurance policies or certificates shall have a notice printed
on or attached to the first page of the policy stating that the policyholder
shall have the right to return the policy within 30 days of its delivery and to
have the premium refunded if, after examination of the policy, the insured
person is not satisfied for any reason. Any refund made pursuant to this
section shall be paid directly to the applicant or named insured by the insurer
within 10 business days following receipt of the returned policy by the insurer
or its agent. The notice required by this section shall be printed in bold face
type or in some other manner which distinguishes it from the print otherwise
appearing in the policy.
